Improving Patient Satisfaction with CPM
A patient’s positive surgical experience and outcome is a physician’s best referral. Studies have shown that passive motion in the 1st phase of rehab has multiple benefits in the recovery process following surgery.
- Controls Pain
- Reduces Inflammation
- Increases Early Range of Motion
- Reduces Scar Tissue Formation
- Improved Pace of Recovery
- Improved Post-Operative Comfort
After receiving a prescription for a CPM machine, our staff will contact the patient’s insurance company to authorize the device. We will contact the patient to set up a personal delivery appointment. One of our certified technicians will deliver the equipment and educate the patient on how to use the machine. Often, this set up process is done prior to surgery, when the patient is not experiencing any post-operative stress.
